Reddit Confirms it was hacked and recommends 2FA

#Reddit was Hacked and confirms no user data was leaked. Recommendation is to setup 2FA.

Reddit is a social news and discussion site with 50 million daily users, has confirmed that it has been hacked. Phishing campaign that targeted Reddit employees - the incident alert confirmed that the attacker gained access to internal documents and coder, as well as internal dashboards and business systems.

Reddit said that it has no evidence to suggest that any of its non-public data has been accessed or shared in the public domain by the attacker. Also platform confirms no user data was leaked.

Reddit recommends users to setup 2FA to protect accounts. I'd recommend changing to strong passwords too.

#ProductOwner and #Founders 's are advised to continuously monitoring Application Security Posture and employees #cybersecurity. #eCyLabs will act as vCISO for our customers and protect from Cyber Attacks.
