How to Hide Your Number When Making Calls

In the era of digital communication, privacy is a significant concern. One way to maintain your anonymity is by hiding your number when making calls. This can be particularly useful if you want to get through to a number that has blocked you. Here’s a simple guide on how to do this on an iPhone.

Steps to Hide Your Number on iPhone

2️⃣ Access the Menu: Tap the three-dot menu button at the top-right corner of the screen.

3️⃣ Go to Settings: From the drop-down menu, select ‘Settings’.

4️⃣ Select Calling Accounts: Navigate to ‘Calling accounts’. Here, you’ll see the SIM card for which you want to hide your number.

Remember, this method might not work on all devices as some carriers or phone models may not support this feature. Also, you need to keep in mind that while this will hide your number from the person you’re calling, it won’t hide it from your service provider or from certain services like emergency services.

Now, whenever you make a call, the recipient will see the inscription “Unknown subscriber” instead of your number. It’s important to note that while the recipient won’t be able to see your number, it will still be visible to special services or your mobile operator.

Hiding your number when making calls is a simple yet effective way to maintain your privacy. With just a few taps, you can ensure your number remains hidden from the recipient of your calls. Remember, your privacy is important, and taking steps to protect it is always a good idea. #lifehack
